Influencer Marketing isn't "hiring the biggest creator"
Real influencer marketing is about finding the right creators, building strategic recommendations, converting attention into results, and continuously learning, not just chasing follower counts.

I've lost count of how many brands say: "We just need a bigger influencer."
But the brands I work with aren't chasing follower counts. They're trying to make sure every creator, every piece of content, and every dollar has a job.
Because real Influencer Marketing looks like this:
Find the right creators.
↳ Audience fit, brand fit, credibility, campaign role. ↳ Not sexy. But essential.
Build the right recommendation.
↳ Strategy, briefing, creative direction, approvals. ↳ A creator can have the right audience. But if the content doesn't resonate, it won't drive results.
Turn attention into results.
↳ Distribution, conversion paths, attribution, performance tracking. ↳ Because attention only creates value when it reaches the right audience.
Learn and scale.
↳ Performance analysis, creator relationships, optimization. ↳ So each campaign builds on what you learned before.
That's not hiring an influencer. That's building the engine behind the recommendation.
And when a brand underfunds that? Then wonders why the campaign didn't convert? It's like cutting the power and then blaming the lights for not working.
The brands that get this right aren't necessarily spending more. They're investing in the parts that actually make influencer marketing work.
