Building a company is messy, beautiful, and exhausting.
And I have realized something during this messy but beautiful journey: The wins don't mean much if you can't share the struggles too. So here's my October, unfiltered:
Wins
→ Onboarded 4,000 new creators to our community
→ Successfully launched 30 campaigns, bringing opportunities to over 1,000 creators along the way this week!
→ Team hit 90% employee satisfaction score
→ Incredible excited to have a Prodigy joining our team: @Maria Elena [Maye] Loyola
→ Awaiting the green light to launch a campaign with a brand we genuinely admire
Struggles
→ There is still room for improvement with the creator payment system; it has been a headache!
→ Work-life balance? What's that? I'm pulling 15-hour days. I'm okay with it for now (and actually energized). But I know this isn't sustainable forever.
→ Finding and scaling high-performing talent at the speed we need? Still cracking that code…
Gratitude
To our incredible team, who turns chaos into systems
To our clients who believe in authentic influence
To our creators who trust us with their audiences
To this community for the constant support
As I said, building a company is messy, beautiful, and exhausting.
But seeing brands connect authentically with their audiences? That makes every struggle worth it.
What's one win and one struggle from your week?
